Bakland is a family-owned lodge and cabin business based in North Lincolnshire. We create lodges and cabins for parks, hospitality and diversification clients across UK, Europe and further afield. 

Owned by Bill Cartledge, who has extensive experience in creating stunning dwellings of all sizes from large park lodges to smaller cabin spaces.

Experience you can trust

We've been making high-spec timber frame cabins for nearly 20 years through our sister company, The Frame and Log Cabin Company Ltd (F&L). The company was founded by Bill Cartledge alongside his family’s timber frame manufacturing business back in 2005. 

 

While living on the picturesque Yorkshire coast, Bill designed some simple holiday cabins, named them after local villages, Runswick, Littlebeck and Aislaby. Then working closely with his dad (who had manufactured timber frames for over 40 years) things quickly took off.

 

F&L became an independent company in 2010 and has been designing and supplying timber frame cabins and structures across the UK and further afield ever since. And now, with decades of experience behind us, we truly understand the many and varied challenges and barriers our customers face.

We’re excited to launch our brand new range of prefabricated cabins, to offer the simplicity and ease of offsite fabrication, alongside the highly experienced craftsmanship of our manufacturing team.

 

Designed for easy transport and placement, Bakland hospitality cabins are fully factory assembled, fitted out and ready for collection or delivery by road throughout the UK and Europe, or by ship from Immingham (UK) to the Faroe Islands, Iceland and beyond.
